30 years in the making, Graycliff unveils their finest blend yet. Graycliff owner Enrico Garzaroli founded his esteemed resort in 1973, establishing not only the Caribbean's first 5 star restaurant, but also creating the home to what is now the world's second largest private wine collection. In addition to his resort and wine cellar, Garzaroli also set out to create the finest cigars in the world... and so the Graycliff brand was born. In the beginning, his cigars were rolled exclusively for guests of the hotel and diners at the restaurant. It didn't take long before legend of extremely rare Caribbean blends--better-than-even-the-best-Cubans--hit American soil. Whispered under-breath in the back lounges of Brick & Mortars, interest in the brand quickly grew and, before he knew it, phones at his resort were ringing off their hooks with requests for Graycliff cigars. Garzaroli, ever the accommodating host, wanted to give everyone a chance to experience 5-star cigars. Adding a few Cuban-trained rollers, he rolled Graycliff out to the waiting world. For the following decade, these super-premiums were slow-crafted, one small-batch after the other, true boutique before boutique became 'big'. A few years ago, the brand began to blend and commission production with factories in other countries including the Dominican, Honduras, the US, and Nicaragua.
