Gran Habano's well-aged fan favorite.

Due to the success of Gran Habano No. 5 Corojo, the factory stockpiled the same limited wrapper for seven years to use in another blend. That blend, Vintage 2002, is a one time production made with this aged wrapper, and is now available for a limited time.

Located in the town of El Pariaso rests the Gran Habano factory, just outside of Danli, Honduras. This factory produces all of Gran Habano's cigars from the original Connecticut #1 to the highly sought-after 3 Siglos blend. Father and son team, Guillermo and George Rico, have built their brand from the ground up creating unique, award-winning blends famous for their complexities and deliberate flavors.

Vintage 2002 contains the same exact blend as the award-winning Gran Habano No. 5 Corojo, and utilizes premium long leaves grown in the most fertile regions of Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The difference is Vintage sports a beautiful, oily Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper from 2002, which creates ample spice mixed with earthy nuances. Don't fret though, with 7 years of age under its belt, this blend remains smooth and creamy from start to finish with thick, hearty flavors of nuts and earth masked with an underlying coffee-like sweetness. It's a fantastic, well-aged cigar.

These were a nice choice. I usually buy the 5 Vegas brand, but I'm simply getting too many wooden cigar boxes piled up. Looking for a local outfit that can repurpose them into crafts or something along those lines. The Vintage 2002 Churchills smoked generally well and, with only a couple of exceptions, stayed wrapped as I smoked them. With my new humidor, I just don't need yet another cigar box to clutter things up. I'd buy these again. In fact, I'm about to do precisely that. Taste? They taste just fine. Not over-powering.

A great short everyday smoke. A bit dry upon arrival it seemed so tucked it in to the humidor to gain advantage. Tips are a bit hard nonetheless and punching doesn't work. Caution for the dryness as the tip can crumble a bit. It is the smaller Vintage, and I do prefer its big brother 60 gauge as it seems to be more flavorful.

I was thinking for the money, Im not telling anyone how good these were! I enjoy the tobacco from this region as I am a Padron smoker for many years. These smoked very good. Rolled too tight, but did smoke well. I will definitely purchase these again.

I'm an every day smoker and enjoy a long smoke with my amber fluids. This Gran Habano provides that. Sometimes I may find an anomally in a wrap, but for the most part, these are solid cigars with a good flavor and smoke that permeates the environment well. At the price, and for how it's smoked, what is not to be liked? A great deal if you're looking for an every day smoke with feel of a solid cigar and a quality experience.

I've had a single of these a couple times in the past. Saw them on sale at a really good price and bought 20 of the 6 x 60. They have not disappointed. Good all around smoke in all regards especially at the price.

Not a good 'Maduro' alternative

Nope... Have been digging thru my humidors and finding these from a 20 pack I ordered a while back... not good. If you want a maduro, these may be tempting for the price. They have an OK flavor, but the maduro wrapper just can't keep up with the burn of the filler. Maybe they're 'green'. Continually re-lighting my smokes, no matter how often I pick them up. Re-light, re-light. The flavor is not that great, and it's a nuisance to keep them lit. It fits my personal montra perfectly, 'smoke FEWER cigars, smoke BETTER cigars".

I have been smoking these now for several years and have found this my all around favorite. My size is the 6X60, which I fell in love with I had tried the Churchill, but had burning issues with them. I have yet to be disappointed in the consistent flavor and burn of this cigar. I some other brands and some are much higher priced, but not that you would smoke every day. These you could and I have. Only problem is, the 60 rings have become so poular that they are now backordered! Will have to double up on my orders. Give it a try, especially the 60 ring......when available.

Used to be my daily smoke. Good taste for the money. Nice consistent burn. But the last three bundles I've recently purchased have been terrible rolls - Hard spots, followed by soft spots. A lot of time spent with a lighter and a lot of wasted butane. I've moved on to other smokes, but if Habano's quality roll came back, I'd go back to them in a heartbeat

Don't let the fancy wrapper fool you. This cigar was the absolute worst one I've smoked. The filler was packed loose in quite a few of the cigars that came in the bundle I purchased. The cigar burned horrible and often lost fire and didn't burn evenly at all. I wouldn't buy another one. I'm not too happy about the money I spent for such a poorly constructed cigar. A refund should be in order...

I am usually a fan of Gran Habanos, but the Churchill is dissapointing. The batch I got does not burn evenly and the draw is inconsistent. The flavor is okay, but nothing memorable. Stick to their Coronas.

In my humble opinion, one of the best Corojo wrapped cigars that money can buy!!!! Mellow, smooth, medium bodied & delicious is an understatement. At the price, it literally has no peer & competes with sticks costing 3 times as much or more. After 2 bundles, I have found no burn issues as reported, no variation in flavor as reported & no reason in the world not to try a mazo. The cedar sleeve makes this vitola my work-day cigar as I sit in front of my PC screens. I NEED good economical cigars to keep me in front of my PC, as after 50 years in computing, it is the only reward that works!!!!! Hope these stay around; although i am going to stock up!!!! The worst Cigars I ever purchased

These Gran Habano's are bunk. I put them in the humidor and smoked my first one after a couple of days. The burn was bad. Poor smoke quantity, and the burn was very uneven. They were considered mild but the taste was as if the cigars were green. I smoked another after the had been in the box a couple of weeks and the quality was the same. This is the first bad box of cigars I got from Cigar.com. In the future I will sample a cigar before I purchase a box.
