Edgar Hoill happens to be the guy who teamed up with Matt Booth of Room 101 cigars, and their collaboration resulted in the underground sensation, One Shot One Kill. Now Edgar has decided to partner with Christian Eiroa (of Camacho fame) for this tasty new line of cigars. Each handmade is wrapped in delicate tissue paper with an elaborate spider web design on the outside, and is then encased inside a classic cedar box. The aesthetics alone are enough to pique your interest.
But as any seasoned enthusiast knows, packaging isn't everything. This Nicaraguan puro is legit, and starts with a dark and oily Habano wrapper. The long leaf Nicaraguan fillers are generously proportioned, and the construction on these gems is top-notch. This medium to full-bodied blend releases complex notes of black pepper, earth, and cashews while hints of espresso come through on the finish. While delicious right out of the box, Edgar Hoill cigars are even better with some age on them. They're a fantastic addition to your humidor.
