A SUNGROWN Stunner!
Created by Drew Estate’s rollers in order to curb their consumption the Liga Privada No. 9 blend, Undercrown has become one of the brand’s most popular lines. The tobaccos used in Liga Privada No. 9 are rare and can be hard to come by, so the cigar is no longer allowed to be consumed by the rollers. Instead of giving up, the rollers improvised by using different primings of the same tobacco to make a new blend to be enjoyed at the factory. The Drew Estate team was so impressed that they rolled it out to the market as Undercrown.
The third installment of the line—Undercrown Sun Grown received high praise from the critics, earning a ‘92’ point rating. Comprised of a cinnamon-hued Ecuador Sumatra Sun Grown wrapper with a blend of premium Nicaraguan long-fillers at the core, this cigar balances spice, flavor, and strength beautifully. Notes of black pepper, leather, and cocoa are complemented by a natural sweetness, making this one of Drew Estate’s most complex offerings to date. Truly deserving of the high praise, this cigar is one you cannot pass up.
