Not sure how this cigar gets good reviews. Very un-enjoyable cigar. No flavor notes to pick up on paired with very hot and harsh smoke. Construction stinks as well, doesn't burn straight and needed re-lighting many times. Would definitely not smoke again.

This is technically a cigar in all regards but there's not but that stands out. In this case the price definitely reflects the quality and that's ok. If you're looking for a humidor stuffer that takes up space then this is your cigar. Nothing special but also nothing terrible.

I was impressed with this purchase… and for anyone on a budget looking for a premium daily smoke… you cannot go wrong here. The burn line is consistently even, the draw is perfect, a pleasing aroma, with generous plumes of smoke. Beautiful white/grey ash that holds on for well more than an inch and always leaver a perfectly coned cherry. A medium (on the mild side), with just enough of a pepper dash to keep the Connecticut interesting. I have smoked many a higher priced cigar that was never close to this. It is true that you typically get what you pay for but this is a rare treat, especially amid the many bargain priced cigars of lesser quality.

I purchased a 20ct box of these Don Rafael’s as my “give-away” stash was getting low. These are my go to cigars when I have novice smokers over for dinner or party’s, etc.
I smoked one of these as soon as they arrived and WOW I was pleasantly surprised by the draw and flavor. The first 1/4” was really peppery but it soon changed to a smoother, leathery notes. This cigar has a quick but even draw and the unique shape makes it a fun novelty gift. I gave it a 4 because of these qualities. I will be purchasing these again!

Having just received these the other day, OMG, this really hits it out of the park! It is creamy, flavorful, and burns fine. I would put it up against some of the more expensive salomans I get to smoke occasionally. This means at this price, if not a daily smoke, it will be a frequent smoke, if I can put them down before I run out!
