The first cigar made in the Canary Islands after the Cuban Embargo.
Don Diego has generations of history with cigar enthusiasts across the world. In what we can consider the beginning of the “Modern Era” of cigars following the Cuban Embargo in 1962, the more expensive, high-quality imported cigar market took the place of the Post-WWII American cigar industry. Made in Las Palmas, Spain, the Don Diego Coronas from 1970 are wrapped in cellophane and in wonderful smoking condition. Already known for their exceptional mellow flavor, decades of age on this box have resulted in an additional balance and unity within the tobaccos resulting in a silky, smooth, and creamy character.
