Deep within AJ's now famed Tabacalera Fernandez cigar factory in Estelí, Unlimited was born, becoming the second member of the fledgling Diesel family. Quickly, it proved to be precisely the full-bodied powerhouse it was built to be, but not even AJ himself could have predicted the line's unprecedented rise in popularity. Since its well-received release, Unlimited has grown in every way a cigar brand can, all while maintaining a level of prestige and respect that rarely lasts this long, especially in a finicky industry obsessed with ratings and obscure retail exclusives. Unlimited manages to break these barriers, establishing a legitimate legacy while living up to its name,
The blend's based around its Habano-seed, Ligero wrapper grown in the nutrient-rich valleys of Ecuador. Several blenders have used this leaf in the past, but this is the first cigar ever created utilizing this thick, meaty leaf as a wrapper. As a result, a great deal of fermentation is required to unlock the leaf's full flavor potential while ensuring proper appearance, performance, and combustion.
A big part of the blend's spicy, rich, and robust profile is provided by the thick, juicy black tobaccos used for the Unlimited's fillers. Some choice crops from two of Nicaragua's best growing regions (Condega & Estelí) are combined with a leaf or two of Ligero from the fertile San Andrés Valley. This recipe results in a sweet & savory, spicy beast of a blend, as balanced as it is bold.
FYI — AJ Fernandez believes this is one of the best blends he has ever created. Can't argue with that!

Diesel Goes Down the Rabbit Hole.
For years, Diesel has been the go-to cigar for enthusiasts who seek big and bold flavors with perfect balance. These cigars are crafted by AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua, and when he was approached about crafting a cigar with tobaccos aged in bourbon barrels, he was apprehensive at first. However, when he realized how much flavor the tobaccos took on during the process, he was all in and there was no turning back.
Diesel Whiskey Row was made in conjunction with craft distiller Rabbit Hole, as the Mexican San Andres binder is aged inside bourbon barrels and then blended with Nicaraguan long fillers from Ometepe, Jalapa, and Condega, and the blend is then wrapped with an Ecuador Habano leaf.
The end result - a cigar with pronounced notes of oak, a slight smokiness, some spice, and a bit of sweetness. While a cigar of this nature is a first for AJ, you can be sure it fits perfectly in line with the rest of Diesel’s incredible cigars and will not disappoint.
