You can't rush perfection.
The original Cusano 18 boasts a ‘91' rating and a bevy of incredible 18-year-aged fillers, a near-perfect wrapper, and an excellent consistency throughout. This follow-up blend had much to live up to, but luckily, it succeeds with ease. Cusano 18 Corojo Dominicano took a full four years to blend, but boy oh boy, it's worth the wait.
Corojo Dominicano uses the same vintage blend of well-aged Dominican Olor long-leaves, but they're underneath a Dominican Corojo Sun Grown wrapper vs a Connecticut Shade. This thick, oily wrapper contributes a full, richly nuanced flavor experience, which includes punctuated notes of pepper, spices, leather and cedar. It's strong and fulfilling, with a well-rounded medley of complex flavors. The medium to full-bodied strength is just right. Go ahead, take a ride on this bandwagon and see what all the fuss is about.
