Camacho Imperial Barrel-Aged is a powerhouse of flavors and complexities, despite the many buzzwords that surround its creation. A hearty Mexican San Andres wrapper envelopes the unique influenced Honduran Corojo binder, which all sits atop a tri-country blend of long-leaf fillers from Brazil, the Dominican, and Honduras. The highly awarded brewery in Longmont, CO – Oskar Blues Brewery – sourced spent bourbon barrels for their release of the popular stout, Ten Fidy. After giving these barrels a second life, the barrels were sent to Camacho for this collaborative cigar. The Honduran Corojo leaves were aged in the barrels, not only giving the barrels a third life, but imparting heritage flavors into the binder-leaves. Expect rich notes of caramel, toasted hops, dried fruit, and white pepper throughout.
