One of Robert Caldwell's latest releases within his Crafted & Curated Series, Louis the Last features the same tobaccos utilized for The Last Tsar, but with a twist: different fermentation techniques were used for the Hybrid Connecticut Arapiraca wrapper and binder leaves, respectively. Only 500 boxes of Louis the Last were produced at William Ventura's El Maestro boutique factory in the Dominican Republic - the only portion of Ventura's factory which did not down in the tragic fire at the end of September 2022.
