The Velvet Hammer.
Another creation by Oliva's Studio Tobac collective, Cain Daytona will pamper your palate with super-smooth smoke, but a complex character thats a little mellower than the other Cain blends. Different... in a very, very good way.
Cain Daytona, like its siblings, features an all-Nicaraguan recipe. Inside you'll find a long-leaf mix of Ligero leaves from the Jalapa Valley (known for growing mellower tobaccos with exceptional combustion, aromas, and sweeter profiles). Similar to the other Cain blends, this extensive use of Ligero gives the Daytona a full-flavor profile, but since the Ligeros are primarily from the Jalapa Valley region, overall it provides a quite smooth, medium-bodied experience. If you tried the other Cain blends and felt they were slightly too strong or spicy, or just not smooth enough, then you'll love Daytona—the smoothest Cain of the bunch and one of the best-tasting cigars on the market.
The Oliva family has left a substantial mark on the cigar industry over the past five years. As one of the world’s most reputable cigar makers, their highly rated blends can only be found at the most reputable tobacconists throughout the world. In 2014, Oliva received an unprecedented '96' rating from Cigar Aficionado for their Serie ‘V’ Melanio line, while they've released a series of fan-favoriteslike Cain, Cain 'F,' and Nub, which are unique blends that appeal especially to cigar enthusiasts with very specific, discerning tastes.
