Founded with the goal of helping to rebuild a severely diminished coffee industry in Haiti, Cafe Kreyol utilizes coffees grown by local farmers. The brand relies on direct trade to produce its blends, meaning that every bean can be traced back directly to the farm where it was grown.
Cafe Kreyol has expanded its operations and now sources coffee from other countries, including Honduras for its 18 Rabbit Honduran Microlot. The beans are grown on a micro-lot in the Marcala region and honey processed, giving this roast tasting notes of green apple cider and caramel. Slightly acidic, with a hint of natural sweetness, this brew is a must-try.
