AVO Domaine: one of the industry’s timeless blends...
While Avo Uvezian has many cigars under his name, the 91-rated AVO Domaine is one that is near and dear to his heart—literally. The tobaccos were found growing by his home in the Dominican Republic in an area with incredibly rich soils. Those soils allowed for an exceptional tobacco to grow, and would birth one of the brand's most legendary cigars.
AVO Domaine starts with a strikingly dark Ecuadorian Sun Grown Connecticut. This hearty wrapper clings firmly to a bulbous portion of all-Dominican fillers. The synergy between the Dominican fillers and the seamless Sun Grown wrapper is perfect. Each complete each other and combine for a medium to full-bodied blend that overflows with notes of tea, cedar, earth, and small hints of vanilla on the finish.

Overall, this is a fairly well-balanced cigar with a number of reasonably strong and dark notes offset by some sweeter notes as well. I can echo the troubles with burn and lighting by a few of the other commenters, but I didn't find that to be nearly as much of a problem or distraction. Overall, the signature here seems to be in a somewhat juicy flavor almost akin to dried fruits with of course, a strong tobacco component. Worth another look if you've skipped it before.

Uneven burn, good taste, too bad

Agree with earlier review. These burn terribly uneven and I'm constantly trying to relight or nip the uneven edge.
What a same because I like the taste.

AVO Domaine No. 70

All but one cigar had multiple hard/tight spots that were difficult to roll and massage out, and as a result the burn was uneven, and relighting was necessary at times. Would not recommend.
