Simply divine. The Ave Maria brand began with one goal in mind… to deliver exceptionally constructed cigars that possess the very essence of classic Cubans both in flavor and strength. With the difficult task at hand of creating yet another super-premium in the ranks of Reconquista, the top-selling core line does just that with Ave Maria Divinia.
In typical Ave Maria fashion, Divinia starts off with an elegant presentation. Quite the display, each cigar is housed in individual coffins and extravagant wood boxes of 12. As for the blend, well-aged Cuban-seed Nicaraguan long-fillers are topped with an oily Nicaraguan Sun Grown wrapper and box-pressed to perfection, resulting in a perfect draw and slow, even burn. A very Cuban-esque and highly complex blend, Ave Maria Divinia begins with a refined character then takes your senses on an incredible ride between the contrasting highly aromatic flavor profile and mellow balance not typically seen in a medium to full-bodied platform. The strength slowly builds as you enjoy the cigar and rich, savory notes of earth, coffee, cocoa, and nuts intermingle throughout the entire experience. Ave Maria Divinia will not disappoint.

Expert Picks: Year of the Favorites
Truly a work of divine inspiration. I love anything AJ Fernandez makes, and this is no exception. Made primarily with Nicaraguan tobacco, this medium to full-bodied cigar opens with heavy spice, which mellow to notes of leather and earth. This blend will carry you on angel's wings until the end.
Expert Picks: Spring Break
Crafted by AJ Fernandez, Divinia takes things to another level. this Cubanesque premium features a hefty amount of Nicaragua tobacco. It opens up with a full hit of spice that mellows gradually into notes of leather, earth, and a mix of woody notes. Certainly full-bodied but heavenly smooth, Divinia is a blessing to have in your humidor.
Nothing Short of Perfection
I really loved Ave Maria's Reconquista when it came out a few years back. I mean, it's not something I enjoy everyday after work, but the blend was excellent for a special occasion. And looking at Divinia's price tag, tells me this will only be enjoyed on special occasions as well.
So what are you paying all that money for? A really damn good cigar. Divinia is near flawless. The blend starts off light and smooth and quickly builds to a medium to full body. I got notes of spice and almonds with hints of espresso and cream. The balance of the cigar is amazing and you'll instantly realize this beauty can go toe-to-toe with any top shelf heavyweight. Make that occasion a little more special and pick up some Divinia.
