The most popular figurados in the world.
The Hemingway series was the first limited edition extension the Fuentes introduced. The line gets its name from famed novelist Ernest Hemingway, and started in three sizes: Classic, Signature, & Short Story. Each cigar in the line is a perfecto shape & has a Dominican filler and binder with a Cameroon wrapper. It is a medium to full-bodied cigar with lots of rich earthy flavors & a pleasant spicy finish. Wood aromas are also detected on the palate as an underlying aroma.
While the line in and of itself is one of the rarest and most respected cigars in the world and the production of all the sizes is limited, the Fuentes have special releases for some of the harder to find shapes. Around Father's Day and Christmas aficionados are lucky if they can track down their favorite Hemingway sizes wrapped in dark Broadleaf Maduro wrappers cultivated in the United States, which is a slightly sweeter and stronger version of its Cameroon counterpart. These Maduros are some of the hardest to find non-Cuban cigars in the world, particularly the Untold Story and the Between The Lines.
i picked one of these up on a whim. right away even at the first draw upon lighting i experienced some great flavors. further into the stick, i got plenty of delicious nuts, coffee, and sweetness. extremely tasty. if you haven't had one of these you are surely missing out. burn was on point and the perfecto shape makes lighting it a no brainer.
And if it hasn't already been said... This cigar is fantastic ! Watch the burn at the start as with many perfectos the burn can get uneven. The only other thing I would say is go bigger, unless you only have a half hour, this will leave you wanting more.
This Cigar is proof that God loves us.
I recently started smoking cigars and this is the best so far. Beautiful veiny wrapper. Delicious flavor from the first puff, full of oak and chocolate and pepper. Nice even burn throughout and an easy draw.
I just recently started smoking cigars. This is the first cigar that I have ever smoked, and came highly recommended to me. This cigar now has a perminant home in my humidor. It has a great draw, an even burn, and an even better taste... I highly recommend this cigar!
