Great value, excellent cigar. There are times in life that call for luxury cigars, and then there are everyday moments that demand something affordable. That’s what Amati was made for—absolutely any night of the week.
The price for this handmade is simply unbelievable, but believe it you must, because it’s true. An attractive US Connecticut Shade wrapper leaf graces the outside of this budget stick, and encircles a medley of Dominican long-fillers. Yes, long-fillers, for a price that’s impossible to beat. Each one delivers smooth and creamy flavor notes, and the overall experience is mellow to medium in body. If you have some sort of opulent party coming up, then go ahead and move along. But if you’re just planning on taking it easy and enjoying a well-priced, well-constructed handmade that’s a real bargain for the money, then Amati is right up your alley.
Not bad for a lower priced smoke. Starts off like a typical cigar then it gets mellow and smooth about 1\3 into the stick and stays smooth through til about 2/3. Then it kind of rounds out into a spicy dry taste that works well with a glass of wine. Not the best cigar but acceptable for $30/box.
