Usually, an "American Classic" blend would contain a mellower Connecticut-grown, Connecticut Shade wrapper. However, to achieve maximum flavor, Alan Rubin took Connecticut-seeds and grew them in the super fertile soils of Honduras, creating a full-flavored Connecticut wrapper with a semi-dark hue. This excellent wrapper conceals a long-leaf filler of Nicaraguan and Honduran tobaccos for a smooth and creamy full-flavored, mellow to medium blend.
