The new Aging Room Rare Collection is a project that reunites brand owner Rafael Nodal with industry legend A.J. Fernandez. Designed to be multiple small-batch runs, Rare Collection relies on the sparse availability of the well-aged tobaccos, so its safe to say you’ll want to snag your box today. This iteration of Rare Collection is a Nicaraguan puro, A.J. Fernandez has grown the Cuban seed hybrid wrapper on his La Lillia farm. While little is known about the binder and filler information, we do know that the blend contains Pelo de Oro tobaccos, which are known to be powerful in profile, and very distinct in flavor. Despite the lack of information on the blend, the involvement of rare tobaccos and two infamous master blenders already tells us that Aging Room Rare Collection is a fantastic cigar.
