'95' rated, one of the best ever.
This is the blend that took home the #2 spot on the Best Cigars of 2013, and also happens to be the highest-rated, non-Cuban cigar on the list. Yes, it's that good. Small batch boutique cigars have never looked so good. Each Quattro F55 was specially created by brand owner Rafael Nodal, and Tabacalera La Palma cigar maker, Jochi Blanco.
The most unique aspect of this premium handmade is undoubtedly the wrapper, a 2003 Sumatra tobacco leaf that's free from blemishes or imperfections. Beneath this fine cloak, a mix of Havano-seed Dominican binder and fillers completes the mix. Each one is carefully box-pressed, and the resulting experience is well-balanced and incredibly refined. With a well-deserved rating of ‘95' and legions of adoring fans, this is one not to be missed.
Good all around stick. Bought a box and worth every penny.
Expert Picks: Summer Starters
The 2003 Sumatra wrapper, along with its Dominican and Habano long-leaf filler, is well-balanced with notes of cedar, coffee, and pepper. Construction and burn are excellent, and the box-press puts it over the top. Aging Room Quattro F55 is one of my favorites, and I can assure you, it will be one of yours after the first draw.
Expert Picks: Choice Churchills
Aging Room Quattro F55 is an amazing cigar. Medium to full-bodied, it opens with spice and leather, then mellows to earthy coffee tones with some slightly sweet woody notes. After enjoying one, you’ll need to clear out the humidor for an entire box!
