In Spanish, La Herencia Cubana translates to “Cuban Heritage,” which pays homage to AJ’s focus on creating premium handmades that are similar in complexity and flavor to those from Cuba’s glory days.
Inside you'll find a unique, full-bodied, long-filler brimming with Ligero tobaccos from Nicaragua and Honduras alongside Pennsylvania Broadleaf. Outside, you'll see an aged Ecuador Habano Ligero wrapper brimming with oils. Expect a bold array of earthy, leathery, and peppery notes, all-the-while the smoke remaining creamy on the palate. This cigar is rustic yet refined, bold yet smooth, and AJ Fernandez’s trademark use of Ligero will leave you coming back for more.

I rate it 96 & declare it to be one of the best blends ever. A fullheads dream. Start with what might be the darkest, thickest, burliest sun grown Ecuadorian habano Ligero wrapper available. Marry that to Esteli, Jamastran & Ometepe ligero long fillers wrapped around Pennsylvania Broadleaf & bound with Esteli Habano Viso. What you get is one of the most complex & thoroughly satisfying full flavored vitolas available. Still, 10 clams per stogie, is a Princely sum. Thankfully, CORE can often be found on sale in samplers, daily specials, etc., which make them affordable for those of us who cannot pay full freight for 10 dollar sticks.
These are really great sticks. They have a nice draw on them, burn beautifully, and have some great spice and chocolate flavors the entire way thru.
