Good some for the price. I like the mellow flavor. Sometimes the draw quality is not so good but I do consider this is a "factory second".

I have had these before and sometimes they are great and sometimes not so much. The consistency was not good. A lot of. " canoe" type of burn. Otherwise,they had good taste and a hard to beat price.

Excellent cigar. A good burn and a good amount of flavor changes while staying true to a typical Connecticut shade style. Only complaint was the construction on the top of the cigar was somewhat lacking in about 3 or 4 of the cigars out of the box, but did not make them not smokeable. Overall a great smoke and excellent buy for a box of cigars.

It is a good smoke for the afternoon. Good burn, has never given a bat after taste. Will keep buying.

I do not enjoy the smoke of the White Gold. Very harsh draw and after one cigar, my mouth is trashed. The cigar also burns 85% complete leaving a large side of the unburn stogie curved up like banana.

As a novice cigar smoker I had hoped for a better stick. They were a challenge to get a good draw but with lots of work to get a good mouth of smoke. Seemed a tight roll. A nice box but a disappointing smoke.

Just started the box of Churchills and so far a nice cigar. I opened a box of toro's first and did not have 1 cigar out of 20 which smoked right, canoeing, tunneling just terrible. would rate those as a 1 star at best. had me leary of these but so far 3 cigars in no issues. if not for the toro's these would be at least a 4 star

Had tried these in the past, but my recent purchase was disappointing on several levels. The cigars were very inconsistent in texture, resulting in an uneven burn, and often tobacco falling from the cigar. Also quite harsh flavor toward the last half of the cigar, and creating quite a "strong cigar smell" as my wife would call it after smoking. Overall, not as mellow as advertised, and the inconsistent in the packing of the cigar made an even smoke very difficult. Will not be purchasing again...

Bought these thinking that it was a good deal on a well established name brand. I have smoked 4 sticks so far and all have required constant attention. They do not stay lit and do not burn well or evenly. I would rather spend twice the money to not have to work so hard to enjoy a smoke.

I find these to be a great smoke on the golf course for my pals that just want a cigar to fit in. They are a well priced stick, smooth and mild, easy draw and even burn.

good cigar at a fair price, a few were pack too tight, but I used my draw poker on them. good taste and most had a good draw and stayed lite.

Box is elegantly decorated with a wood bottom. The white tissue paper surrounding the cigars inside the box was an unexpected little extra touch of class. I have found the cigars to be mellow to medium and producing minimal ash. Construction seems to be fine although I have experienced they tend to go out toward the end (last 1/4 of the cigar) unless you are constantly puffing away. Some of mine had small green spots on the otherwise light brown Connecticut leaf wrapper. Also, they are just slightly smaller in diameter when compared with my other cigars of the same ring gauge. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase of the Alec Bradley White Gold in the Churchill size.

I wanted a mild cigar and that is what I found in White Gold. However, I didn't like the way they burned and once they went out hard to re-light. I may but one in the future but not a box.

My go to daily smoke. Nice price, taste, burn. Have had several boxes of White Gold and have enjoyed each one.

About half the pieces (of 20) smoked very unevenly, necessitating numerous relightings.

Does not smoke smooth to the end I had to re light a few of them.

The first one out of the box canoe'd on me twice and was not very enjoyable. Subsequent ones improved after resting in my humidor for a while. Will not make my list of favorites but a good stick.

I figured the promotional price was worth taking a chance on these cigars and I got what I paid for. It's not a bad cigar, but it certainly isn't what I would consider good. Bitter taste and uneven burn makes it not enjoyable to smoke. If you're looking for a cheap "$2 cigar" that doesn't completely suck, this is it.

I felt they are a little harsh after the first hand was gone, but overall a good cigar. will buy more when needed.

This is by far the worst cigar I've ever had. They burn unevenly, the are hard to keep lit and when I can keep them lit they are harsh and burn hot. Not even A good yard work smoke.

The Alec Bradley White Gold Churchill is a great every day smoker, at a fair price, I like them and will buy them again.

Being a fan of mild Connecticut cigars, I found these cigars to have a nice mellow flavor... when I could find a good one. There were inconsistencies from one cigar to the next. Some were rolled so loose that I was constantly relighting it and frequently spitting bits of tobacco of my tongue. Unfortunately there were few properly rolled cigars in the entire box which made this one a disappointment.

Cigars were dry and had a bitter taste. I thought I’d take a chance but would not buy them again.

A mellow smoke, not bad but not real tasty but the worst thing is the loose packing. I was constantly picking tobacco out of my mouth. Ughhh.

Great smoke if you push down the cigar end before lighting. The tobacco is too loose and needs to be tighter. This will prevent the canoe effect.

They are a good cigar. They have kind of an earthy taste and are very mellow. They seem to have quality construction and a neat appearance. They light and smoke evenly and as they burn they seem to create a fairly even ash. One drawback is that after the first round of ash is removed they seem to take a bit of work to remain lit and occasionally the wrapper does not burn evenly with the filler.

Good cigar I was a little hesitant to buy after reading the reviews. But being inexpensive I went ahead and bought a box. The taste was fantastic and they burned good and very even. I smoke about 4 to 5 cigars a day and these will go into my daily rotation. I will buy more.

While I am a fan of virtually all that Alec Bradley has to offer, I find the White Gold to be particularly pleasing. I suggest that when you first take it out of its wrapping, you first take a good strong whiff from the unlit end of the cigar. You will experience a sweetness in its aroma that will last through the experience of smoking it. Allow the smoke to "set" in your mouth and you will experience what I'm saying. This one goes on my "buy again" list without a doubt.

I'm on my second box. It is a good value for the price and a mild cigar with your morning coffee. I tend to like fuller cigars, but for an early in the day cigar, you can't beat it. I keep mine at about 65% and I have had no problems with the way they smoke.

Cigars arrived on time and packaged well. Unfortunately, the wrappers were dry and the ends cracked and frayed when touched. When cutting the cigar in preparation for smoking the cigar basically began to come apart. The cigar could be smoked but tobacco was always having to be spit out of your mouth. Awful experience so gave up after 2 cigars. Lesson learned, don't buy these on special.

A mellow smoke with a mild flavor that so far goes well with coffee, brandy, and whiskey. The roll is rather loose by my current standards, with an uneven burn and an inconsistent draw. Not a great first impression, and I won't be reordering these.

If you enjoy a mild cigar in the afternoon, AB White Gold is great. I find the end caps are not as robust as a more expensive cigar; so I use a punch cutter but the cigar is a real pleasure to enjoy! Buy a box today and try them.

I am an Alec Bradley fan, however, I'm a little disappointed with the white gold. Flavor is ok, I smoked 3 far and they won't stay lit, very frustrating. I hope the whole box is not like that.

I originally purchased a 5 pack of the toros hoping to find an affordable, everyday cigar and was very impressed with the quality of the smokes that I had received. A few of them had minor issues with construction, especially around the cap, but I could have been fooled into thinking that I was smoking much more expensive AB's. They all burned well and were very tasty. The best way that I can describe them was that they were like eating buttered toast with a side of roasted almonds. I was confused about some of the more critical reviews that I had read describing them as loosely rolled, bland or even the semi-positive reviews describing the finish as peppery when mine had been creamy and smooth as silk. After ordering a box of 20 and smoking through half of them I started to understand. They had all been loosely rolled and were peppery, peppery, peppery. If peppery is your thing then by all means pull the trigger but I preferred the complexity of the 5 that I had ordered to begin with. They are still a great value but I was a little disappointed thinking that I had struck white gold when I was only really getting what I had paid for, as with anything else in life.

Very solid three almost four. I see that others have had issues when these are cut in the cap. I cut the first two I had with my punch and no problem. I cut the one today and see the issue. But, I will say that these are a great value. Not stellar or anything but very good. Smooth, mild taste, burn good, wrapper is solid and construction is good. Can't wait to see how these age a bit. I think I will purchase again, especially at this price point.

These are some of the very best tasting, best burning, and most relaxing sticks I've ever had the privilege of smoking. I'm getting ready to order my second box...they're that danged good! Take it from me, I'm a pastor, I would lie about a good stick. If you've got taste, burn, or any issue with these, you need to reevaluate your humidor. Just a personal note, no insult intended.

I found them to be a great cigar that I can smoke on a regular bases.

Though far from being an aficionado, I personally find the White Gold a splendid mild cigar at a good price point. It burns well and presents a smooth taste. I will leave it to someone else to describe tastes on the palate with terms like pepper, pine nuts and peat moss.

As I peruse other reviews regarding burn, I wonder if these reviewers know how to light a cigar? An uneven toasting of the foot with a jet torch typically causes this. When I patiently light one of these inexpensive sticks, I have never experienced an uneven burn not a wonderful even burning, strong white ash. I can smoke these beauties all the way to the label without losing the ash in a near perfect circumfurance of the golden treats. These down right cheap smokes, despite the price DO NOT besmirch the AB brand. Tasty, flavorful and aromatic despite being so so mild. I give them max stars deservedly.

Although these are very mild and inexpensive and are great for every day there tends to be differences in the roll. Seems there are air pockets that burn rapidly up one side. Even at the low cost this is not one I would invest in a second time.

Great cigar with a great balance of spice and a creamy finish. The smoke is mild, mellow taste of cream and spices. Burns very even and dio3esnot burn hot at the end of the smoke. Great finish, great hand made. One of my every day sticks.

These sticks, as you would expect, are not up to the same standards as the other brands Alec Bradley makes. While they are a decent smoke and a good value for the money, they burn hot, unevenly and very quickly. There are several other economy priced sticks out there that are a better everyday smoke than these are.

I have other sticks I prefer as everyday smokes but these are not bad for the money. They burn fairly consistently and taste pretty good. I have to say they burn a little hotter than other smokes in the same price range. All in all not a bad choice for an everyday stogie.

The flavor of the cigar is nice but the cigar is too flimsy and was bending any time I'd use a bullet punch and would fray if I used any other cut. It would go out frequently and canoe just as often. It may seem like a great deal coming from a respected brand but this cigar is more agitating than enjoyable regardless if the price it's not worth it.

enjoyed the White Gold very much. The flavor was quite aromatic and the taste was an excellent Mild-Medium. I usually smoke San Lotana Toro Cigars but this was a close second at a third of the price.
