Expert Picks: Gilded Gifts

Dad has been there for you through thick and thin, he's worked hard, and Father's Day is his time to kick back, relax, and maybe enjoy a cigar or two. Showing dad that you're thinking of him doesn't mean buying a necktie that he may never wear. Instead, make sure he can enjoy some premium handmade cigars that have been hand selected by our experts in honor of Father's Day. These beauties will pair well with all of his favorite things: baseball, great weather, and his beverage of choice.

Rocky Patel Cri-ojo

A Staff: Dave Dave
This is Rocky Patel's aptly dubbed Cri-ojo, a unique hybrid wrapper leaf featuring a mix of both Criollo and Corojo seed offering a one-of-a-kind experience. I never thought such a balanced, medium-bodied cigar could pack so much flavor from an earthy spice up front to a touch of natural sweetness on the finish.

CAO Italia

E Staff: Daniel Daniel
This 90+ rated CAO is a one-of-a-kind blend packed with Italian, Nicaraguan, and Peruvian long-fillers. It's wrapped with a dark chocolate, oily Habano leaf. This first draw surprised me when strong notes of pepper hit my palate, but then opened up with dark chocolate, earth, peat, leather, and spice. All of these flavors melded together beautifully.
