The Oliva Serie ‘G’ is one of those cigars you really have to have in your humidor. It’s a great everyday smoke that has a consistent flavor throughout. The African Cameroon wrapper really sets off the Nicaraguan filler with notes of rich coffee and a slight spice. And like a fine wine, it only gets better with age.
Morado is the highest-rated La Perla Habana blend, and rightfully so. The toothy African Cameroon wrapper is rolled to perfection around a solid core of Nicaraguan long-fillers. This well-balanced, medium-bodied blend has a ton of flavor without all the kick. Smooth flavors of cedar, earth, and light spices mingle throughout, followed by a semi-sweet finish.
Decade is one of my all-time favorites, so I had to try Rocky’s newer Cameroon version.  After enjoying dozens since its release, I can tell you this blend delivers and frankly is as good, if not better than the original.  There’s a nice sweetness to the smoke throughout and some serious complexity with hints of caramel, coconut, and peanut.  Another KO from Rocky!
Crafted by one of the most historic cigar companies, Hoyo Excalibur Cameroon makes a statement from first puff. Despite never surpassing a medium body in strength, the cigar holds its weight in terms of flavor. A bold, zesty spice dominates the flavor profile due to a rich blend of tobaccos from Cameroon, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Connecticut.
One of the first big-name brands to utilize Cameroon tobacco as wrapper leaf, Cohiba is still one of the best. Carefully selected and patiently-aged Dominican ligeros are part of the secret that gives the Red Dot its world renowned, richly nuanced flavor. Its West African Cameroon wrapper imparts a mellow, sweet spice and bready aroma. If you are a fan of Cameroon wrappers, this blend is a must.
