A blend like this gives new meaning to the phrase, “farm to table.” Alec Bradley Coyol was inspired by the aroma and flavor of the tobaccos at a farm by the same name. Brand owner Alan Rubin sought to create a new cigar representing the emotion he felt at first taste, and here with Coyol, he has managed to capture that essence.
Patience is a virtue that Alan Rubin extols, and the quality of his products reflects this meticulous attention to detail and desire for perfection. The farm of Coyol is responsible for plenty of 90+ rated blends, including Prensado and Tempus, so it's no wonder this latest release was destined for greatness. It's just another hit for a highly respected brand that deserves every accolade it has received.
Alec Bradley Coyol includes tobacco leaves from the farm in the wrapper, binder, and filler. This medium to full-bodied handmade is bold with intense notes of spice, earth, and leather. Things mellow out in the closing act, and the finish has a tinge of cherry sweetness that lingers deliciously. A bevy of Nicaraguan and Honduran long-fillers along with an attractive Honduran wrapper are just part of what makes this cigar great. Complex, unique, and exciting, this is exactly what Alec Bradley fans have come to expect.
