I was hesitant to buy this due to some of the reviews about bursting, but I added water to just cover beads and they handled the volume. I have done this three times now without issue. It keeps my cigars at the proper humidity as long as you add water when low. I lay it down on my upper tray, so I do not have weight issues.

Better than expected. I bought this for my mid-sized (50-75 cigars) office humidor but it is way to powerful for this thing. After prepping it as instructed, it keeps this humidor at 99% and that as you know is too much. Had to give it to a friend to use in his larger humidor. Only issue he has is the thing is too heavy to sick to the magnet they supply. He had to buy some double sided tape to keep it from falling down all the time. Other than that it works great in his stand up humidor.

Product works OK. When distilled water was added, the casing had burst open liberating the gel-balls within. Was able to reassemble with some difficulty and needed to tape the case closed. Having done that, it works well.

My only problem with this, if you can call it a problem, it is too big for my small humidor, so I had to change. I do have the world's cheapest air leaking SOB as well, and it will keep that box at 68%

I recently purchase this HUMI-CARE humidifier because of the reviews, so I thought I would give mine. So far, great. I did as directions say. Simple. The only thing I noticed was it kinda raised my humidity a bit too high at first and I have a 150 cigar humidor. I would recommend maybe leaving it out for a day or two after activating it. I actually calibrated my hygrometer after putting it in because it showed way to high for my humidor. It was showing 79% which could be harmful, but after calibration my hygrometer was off 3%, which was still too high. I left it out for a day and it seems fine now. Will buy another for my other humidor. Definitely keep an eye on it after a couple hours in and calibrate your hygrometer.

Very disappointed, filled the unit as instructed to the screen, let sit over an hour put in my humidor and next day the beads all exploded out of the unit all over my humidor. Do not saturate as the instructions say.

Please take this review with a grain of salt. This item worked well, in fact too well. It is obviously too large for my humidor, which holds about 40 cigars. I went away for a week and when I returned I had mold all inside the humidor. If you have a humidor like mine you may want to get something smaller.

I have been messing with humidifiers and humidors for some 40-odd years now and I have to say these HUMI-CARE humidifiers are the best I have ever bought. Keeps my 300 count humidifier at a constant mid 70 humidification. Never seen humidifiers work so well. No kidding. They last forever and need very little maintenance. Just a little distilled water once every month or 2. I'll never buy any other type of humidifier. these are absolutely the best available!

This is a very nice humidifier that is much better than the stock humidifiers that come with a humidor. This humidifier is constructed much better, stays in place more securely and keeps your sticks at the proper humidity range. Last, but not least it is a bargain for the price. I highly recommend it.

Had this for nearly a year and has kept my box a 70%, Don't over fill -there are consequences- but this product has been super and reliable. Will buy again when and if this fails.

Other than the instructions that came with it suggesting overfilling, this has been a very good experience. Reasonable price, excellent customer service, effective product. Only had it a few weeks, too soon to measure longevity, but seems to be everything promised so far. These gel balls seem more reliable than the sponge type humidifiers I've used in the past.

Works alright, I only use the humicare juice and now it won't expand the crystals anymore, says will work for a year, I've had it for three months, won't ever buy again, try something else.
