First registered in Cuba in 1884, La Flor de Cano is one of the oldest registered marks in the cigar industry.
La Flor de Cano has an interesting history as the brand has been handed down generation to generation in what has been considered a family brand for over 120 years. Produced in Havana on Manrique St., La Flor de Cano has always been a smaller production cigar with a dedicated following of loyal cigar enthusiasts.
In 2007, the brand expanded beyond Cuba and is now also made in the Honduras where a blend has been crafted to cater to the US cigar market. Blended with Mexican, Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos, the blend is a smorgasbord of hearty flavors that include earthy and toasty notes. This medium-bodied blend also has hints of spice that stem from its Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper.
