I prefer a clipper, the scissors don't do a clean cut. Clippers are also easy to carry in your pockets . Scissors not so much. Go back to putting clippers in your packages. The cigars are excellent, you put in a excellent selection of cigars in the package I ordered. I give the Scissors a two star rating the rest of the package is Five Star

I bought this for the main purpose of cutting cigarillos that have those plastic wrappers that won't open all the way from the cigar middle, and make it hard to get what's left off the cigar. When this happens, I cut right through the plastic and tip of the cigarillo to easily remove the left over plastic wrapper. They work great for this, but just mangled the ends of my larger ringed Churchill's.

These work fine on ring gauge 50 cigars and smaller. They will take a cap off the head of a ring gauge 60 cigar but not much more. First time I have used this style of cutter. It doesn't feel cheap and does the job.

I bought these scissors for two reasons. One: The guillotine cutter that I have been using does not make a clean cut and tears the wrapper. Two: In the movie "My Fair Lady" when the two men are celebrating, the butler uses a scisssors to cut their cigars and I liked the sound and the ceremony. These scissors are sharp and do a very nice job. I highly recommend them.

Nice cutter. Very sharp and cuts through easily. Wouldn't suggest using on anything larger than a 44 ring. Also, if you have a fat thumb like me you'll have a tough time getting it into and out of the scissors.
