• Re: Whatcha smokin tonight?

cholmes8310:Oliva Serie G Cameroon toro. paired it with Harpoon IPA. Best thing about smoking outdoors in 28 degree weather? Cigar doesn't burn hot and beer stays cold. Love IT!I couldnt do it. Its around 60 here in tampa and I almost dont want to go out and smoke ha ha.Never had the Harpoon IPA. Just finished a Lagunitas Maximus IPA and damn ...

Had many a good cigar lately. Highlights being the new Patel Bros which is really damn good. Much better than the 1961. My favorite from recent weeks though is the My Father 1922 blended by DPG. Wow this one really blew me away. This morning had a 601 red habano churchill, killer smoke as usual, pretty sad I only have 1 left. About to light up

  • Re: Turning Green

I seem to usually catch more of a buzz in my head then the gut. I will often times feel disoriented or maybe even a little nervouse rather than sick in the stomach. Not sure which is worse.

Had 3 today. A perdomo champagne which was ok. Then tried the new patel bros toro. This was fantastic even fresh out of the humi from the bnm. Very rich dark and full of flavor. Way better then the new rp 1961. Took 1 home to rest for a month or so. Finished off with a cubao torp still 1 of the best smokes imo.

  • Re: Bad Decade

I notice the color variation a lot on Cubaos as well not the maduros but the regular ones. I always try to pick the darkest ones. Ive never had a bad decade but I havent gotten to smoke as many as I wish I could. They are so good. Only complaint is they can get a little boring in the 2nd half as the flavor doesnt change much at least for me. They ...

  • Re: Whatcha smokin tonight?

Had a RP 1961 toro with a month in the humi. was a very very pretty looking cigar. Amazing construction, burn and draw with an amazing looking wrapper. Flavor was very nice through the 1st half. Wasnt paying to much attention to pick out flavors but coffee, rich tobacco and a little citrus maybe. Slight spice on the outset. Probably needed more ...

  • Re: Whatcha smokin tonight?

Had a DPG JJ maduro today. Damn this was a really great maduro. I know Pepin isnt known for his maduros but the 601 blue and the jj are 2 of my favorite maduros. Going to have my first Padilla habano tomorrow. Pretty excited as Ive been on a huge habano kick lately. Been smoking a bunch of 601 reds recently. Somthing about the sweet and spicy ...

  • Re: humidors in florida

I love the Tampa Humidor less than a mile from my house and great prices on singles. As far as my favorite place to smoke is the King Corona in Ybor. I just love it there but its very expensive though they have a great beer selection if your into craft beer. St.Bernardus ABT 12 always on tap. One of the best beers in the world. I also love just ...
