  • Re: Building a Humidor?!?!?!?

Just buy a cooler with a tight seal and you have your humidor. Easy and done. Then you can take your time building one from scratch. Just make sure you build it out of spanish cedar, not regular cedar.

madurofan:Good points Bsneed, especially that he does in fact have his own factory. I'm not positive but I believe DPG, Tatuaje, and San Cristobal are his the rest he acted as a consultant as you said. Tatuaje is owned by Pete Johnson. I am not dure which; but San Cristobal is owned by Altidis or General. DPG he owns.

  • Re: What kind of cigar would you be?

Good thread guys; gets the brain cells working. Well I just happen to be my favorite cigar type. A Por Larranaga Petit Corona. I am not a big guy (5'6'' 180) and usually tan, but not dark in complextion. I am really easy going and strive to please. But deep down inside I am really complex and there is a lot too me. And just like the cigar; I get ...

  • Re: C.com members with wifes and girlfriends

My wife doens't really mind. She may make a commnet here or there; but nothing big. I have cut back on my spending a lot. Plus she has nothing on me in the spending department. I would have a lot more cigars if I spent what she does in a month on cigarettes on my cigar collection. She probably spends 20 bucks a week: multiply that by 4 and you get ...

  • Re: Demographics and cigars... random musings...

Hi Gotts; Wlecome to the boards. I think you will find that the members here run the spectrum from just starting out and in college up to retired and chasing grandkids around. Most of the guys here are in their twenties to thirties; but here age doesn't make a difference. This is not a place for cigar snobs or internet trolls. Just guys who want ...

  • Re: Stolen Cigars

Sorry to hear about your loss bro. That really sucks. I too have come home to a party at my apt. in college and found people in my room who should not be there and all over my ***. Swift kicks in the ass were handed out. As far as a new humidor; get a cooler. If you have questions let me know. I can fill you in on how to make a coolerdor. I have ...
