  • Pulse Check

Hey Guys, Been a while since I bumped in to say hello all though I have been checking up on the threads. I hope everyone has had a chance to try the new Diesel. Also check out the La Herencia Cubana Oscuro Fuerte and the 5 Vegas Tripl-A. All these have the new PA Broadleaf wrapper and are slowly starting to hit our humidor. I have to ...

  • Re: Massive Gurkha Deal

Thanks gents. I would be lying if I told you there was nothing in it for me. As you can see in my writeup, we are a bit heavy on these gurkhas so really this is a win win for everyone. And yes a few hours after you place your order we will be phoning you to tell you we cant honor it at this price =)

  • Massive Gurkha Deal

For those of you Gurkha nuts that were a little put out by a special my competitors did that was not honored, I thought CCOM would pick up the ball with a special offer. Believe me, NONE of our competitors can touch this deal. Pick from about 20 gurkhas for less than $3 a stick. http://www.cigar.com/cigars/exclusiveCustomSampler.asp

  • Re: An Update on Forum Blending

Great points. Chances are, when we pick a size or wrapper, we wont be able to use that same size or wrapper for the next two blends. I am working out the kinks. In terms of poor CCOM sales, dont worry. We are not doing this for the money, mainly because we like the interactivity with our customers.

  • Re: Forum Blend Vote on NAME here

Okay, voting is closed. Torpedo and Cuminidad Premio are the winners. That will stand for this blend and I will order up some mazos from the factory. In the mean time, we are stating on the new forum blend platform etc next week. I need get the name approved for ongoing use.

  • Did You Know?

I just wrote a post about how the cigar boom of the 1990's changed the many ways people go about describing cigars and it made me think about other changes throughout the history of cigars. One interesting fact is how the names of figurados have changed. For example, today we use the words torpedo, pyramid and belicoso interchangeably to ...

  • Re: Painted maduros? Fact or Fiction

This is correct but needs some clarification. All maduro wrapper bleeds to one extent or another. If you visit a factory and see someone rolling a maduro, their hands are almost black. This is because they had to wet the wrapper heavily to make it pliable so they can roll it around a cigar. As a result, it bleeds onto the hands of the roller. ...

  • An Update on Forum Blending

Great News. I talked to the bean counters over here we are going to be able to turn this forum blending concept into a full time, ongoing activity. This first one was a great experiment. Here is how it is going to work. Bear with me as we probably wont get started on the next blend until January but after that we should be able to do about 4 a ...

  • Forum Blend Update

Looks like everyone likes the sumatra. This is something I can bring on in to test out. It will most likely start as an unbanded bundle but if sales are good, we can add a box and band. Lets discuss what sizes we like and a name. Please use this thread as an open discussion for both and when we have voiced our opinions we will open up both to a
