The Snitch is Dead (Puff Dougie)

EulogyEulogy Posts: 2,463 ✭✭✭✭✭
I have finished wrapping up production and I'm quite pleased with how this turned out. I'm going to try and get it out tomorrow. I was swaying back and forth between titling this The Preacher and The Snitch. Ultimately, I chose The Snitch because I wanted the title to reflect the vengeance theme. But thinking of a classic movie that dealt with religion and vengeance, Pulp Fiction, I'll end this with one of the most striking quotes from the movie.

Ezekiel 25:17
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know My name is the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon thee.

I know that this quote is suppose to be about leading the weak from temptation but it's a pretty cool thing to say before you kill a mother F'er.

Haha... Love your trilogy theme. I hadn't been on the forum for a couple days due to family visiting plus a camping trip over the weekend. I came back and saw all this. Lots of laughs.... Quality entertainment if not family. That reminds me, after last weekend's cave exploring, I need to cross that off my bucket trilogy.

I don't know if I'm more freaked out by your original post or by RCY's scary smiley face mem in another thread! Suddenly around here it's like walking through a dark, back alley.

We're both going to smile to your face before we stab you in the back at least. You should take some comfort in that.

So, apparently I missed all of this until Walt texted me today with a cryptic message about "snitching" or something. But, honestly dude, if you've decided to poke at me and Irish and Ro Ro, I'm thinkin' the trilogy might look more like...

Irish was Indy 4... besides he got off easy. The trilogy is Todd, You, and Ro Ro. You can catch up on this in my A Trilogy post.

I'm hoping transit is going okay. There hasn't been an update and it says it's still in Castro Valley; I'm a long way from PA.

Looks like it will get there today. I hope your life insurance is all paid up. Might want to sell some to Ro... Tomorrow's a big day.

Better hurry on that insurance or you may have a "pre-existing condition" clause to deal with, nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.

... but he died with a smile on his face.

Came home late tonight after taking the boy to Children's Hospital for a consult. (He's fine, just running some tests to figure out why he's been sick so often over the past few years). Open the front door very carefully, expecting some shenanigans from Eulogy. Here's what I see...

    image

Careful not to make any sudden movements, I ease the box to the dining room table and gently cut the tape and pry open the flaps... KA-BOOM!!!

    image

Dude KO-ed me with a bottle of Oban 14-year single malt and a fiver of premi-prems that are all new to me!

    image

I have no idea how or why in the wide world I was selected to be a chapter in this trilogy, but I am totally humbled and grateful for this amazingly generous butt whoopin'. This is over-the-top, brother! Mrs. Puff says, "Oh great! I get bills and you get bottles of booze from your smokin' buddies!" LOL!

I don't know what is going to be more fun... smoking these awesome sticks and sippin' this delectable Scotch... or plotting the EPIC VENGEANCE with "The Mick" and "The Spartan" that will usher in the final chapter of Alan's eulogy.

This was the sequel. Todd (bandyt) was the first chapter, Dougie was the sequel, and it wraps up tomorrow with Ro. Brett was Indiana Jones 4.

That is one awesome hit right there! You have to admire Eulogy and be envious of The Snitch. Well done!

Oh, no no no... Tomorrow is not the end, my friend. I have a feeling this series will have an alternative ending that you did not see coming....
