What a great looking puppy, good on you. Now, what are you going to name him?

I think the next one that wonders in her we are going to name him Carlos or Arturo.

Keep us posted on the puppy's progress, cause inquiring minds want to know.

Max is such a great name for a dog....short and sweet.... not too many other words to confuse it with.

I am guessing that you don't have a real tick problem in Alaska because of temps....is that true?

Correct. Fleas and ticks are very rare in Alaska.

    Puppy breath is magic.
“It has been a source of great pain to me to have met with so many among [my] opponents who had not the liberality to distinguish between political and social opposition; who transferred at once to the person, the hatred they bore to his political opinions.” —Thomas Jefferson (1808)

That's one cute dog! But I'm not letting my kids see this photo or they'll be begging me for one forever.

You and Jim getting pups from the same litter?
They look pretty similar, although your's seems to have more lab in it.

Maybe. Jim you fly up to Alaska to pick your pup up?
Headed out for a week of fishing this Friday then pick him up on the way home. Between cleaning 30+ salmon and a new puppy life will more likely be hectic for a little while.

From a family in Nenana, AK. It's about 5 hours north of Anchorage and about an hour south of Fairbanks, AK.

Maxwell has been home for a little over a month now and it has been a lot of fun so far.

And he even "helped" me build the fence in the backyard.

Do you let him run around in the house? We don't, but how's the potty traing going and the chewing?

Only if someone is there watching him. And he is a very good magician. He his kennel trained. Potty training went very well. Had a couple accidents. And those were when he tried to let us know he needed to go but couldn't hold it to run him down the stairs. Come to realize he will put anything and everything in his mouth.
