I was looking to see what you all out there think about the acid cigars ive only had two so far the Blondie and the nasty and enjoyed them both but how do you guys feel about them? i hate the fact i need a separate humidor for them but hey thats what you get for a strong aroma

Yeah.... the aroma is too intense for your humi... but I've had some while I was a beginner smoker, and the Blondie was one that put me on the track to great cigars. Nowadays, I'm not too keen on the strong flavor and the sweetness, but this was one of the Gateways to my cigar addiction

I tried the Kuba Kuba and it wasn't a bad smoke, just the flavor was a bit much for me. It was too sweet but it was rolled well and held a great ash! But it was also one of my early smokes and helped me learn what I like a little better. I believe the next cigar I had after that was a CAO Brazillia and THAT was a good smoke! I think the Acid made me appreciate the CAO even more than I would have.

Never tried them. Might be interested, but never found anything explaining what flavors they are - since the names aren't exactly descriptive of flavors.

I have smoked nearly all of the Acid and Natural lines by Drew Estates. I enjoyed most of them for what they were seriously infused ( not flavored ) cigars. I Bought a box of the natural line Clean Robusto because it was the best out of the line in my opinion. I also enjoyed the cold tea and blondie cigars. They are worth a try but will probaly never become your everyday stick.. They are interesting, well made, and a nice change of pace cigar.

Here's my opinion on Acids. I can't stand them, I can't stand any flavored(or infused) cigar, the only flavor I want in my cigar is that of the tobacco. Honestly Acids kind of irritate me some too bc they are taking very high end tobacco in a lot of cases and then infusing flavor covering up all the natural beauty of that tobacco.

All that said you have to respect Acid, their cigars are infused not dipped to get these flavors. The flavors are creative and interesting not just, honey or strawberry, etc. They are typically very high quality cigars and push the envelope in terms of vitolas, which I am always for. Finally Acid cigars have brought people into our hobby that otherwise would have never enjoyed it. I have a friend that didn't like cigars at all then had an Acid and started smoking them fairly regularly. Now after a year of smoking those he has moved into non-infused cigars. If it hadn't been for the Acids he would have never developed a liking for cigars.

Sadly I picked up my first cigarette in 2.5 years while I was in New Orleans last week. I haven't smoked one since but still.

Agreed but they go so well with late nights and drunken stupers.
