Re-New to Forum

Do I know anybody here?

Hi, everybody. I used to be around these parts a lot, but I've been away for a while. Thought it was time to renew old acquaintances and make some new ones.

Looking forward to getting to know all the old guys, again, and meeting everybody who's arrived since I left.

Welcome back. I didn't know you, but as JD says, if you're sick and twisted, we'll get along great! Lassie is my idol and when I grow up, I want to be just like him!

Evacuation of the bowels is a common reaction to my presence, Jd. It's very awkward at weddings. Lassie came home?! I thought he was dead.

In a huge twist, they have reversed sides on the argument...and for good measure, I've been arguing the merits of White Owls vs. Backwoods...crazy times in the ccom forum world.

Thanks, YankeeMan. In the interest of world peace, I'll overlook the fact that you're a Yankees fan. :)

Hey, Luko. Thanks. Sadly, no. He moved out of my humi and shacked up with a mule, out on the edge of town.

What? Switched sides? No. Really? That's effed up.

And Grape Phillies are tops in the White Owls/Backwoods price range. Everyone knows this.

Understandable. I'm gonna have to go home and see if my compasses still point north, myself.

Hi, gm. Glad to see you're still around. Your father-in-law was having health problems when I was last here, IIRC. Bless his heart. And yours.

Yup, still got the cabinet, and it's humming along just peachy. No new pics. I think there's only one thing in there that wasn't there in the last set of pics, actually.

not so much. ive kinda moved into the " i dont care about either" group.

i still think i like gurkha is better but being a little less mediocre is no accomplishment.

Okay, well that keeps the world more or less on its axis, then. Whew!

Has any particular brand taken the top spot, or are you just playing the field?

    top three right now?

    in no order...
    La Flor Dominicana
    AVO
    Camacho

im trying very hard to develop my palate to more nuanced cigars as well. things like DPGs, Illusiones, Tatuaje, and Davidoff are creeping in there as well.
  • urbinourbino Posts: 4,517
Somebody else around here is a big LFD fan. J0z3r, maybe?

Which AVOs do you prefer? I've been a fan of the Domaine for a long time. Haven't gotten around to trying their others, yet, but I did pick up a couple of 787s the other day. And I've never smoked a Davidoff at all, but I've had a sampler in the humi for about a month, now.

The Camachos I've had have been good smokes, but it's another brand I haven't tried a wide range of, so far. Mostly, I like the little 1962 perfecto as a finishing-off, palate-cleansing kind of cigar.

I'm with him in this group, oddly.

And welcome back you old burro ****! The forum hasn't been the same without you. We were worried, started checking obits and everything. Even thought about calling the police in to check on the house. We knew you were old and lived alone didn't want you to be dead in your house for weeks before anyone found you.

    Still riding the bike?
