This 6×52 stick offered a very smooth satin medium chocolate wrapper with a nice aroma of dusty cocoa. Draw started out very firm but gradually went down to a very nice amount of resistance as the stick burned. Total burn time to the nub was 1:30, holding the ash between 3/4″ and 1 1/2″ with an almost razor sharp line. Flavors in the first two thirds were very consistent, giving a light creamy leather flavor with a long finish. Pepper and spice built up on the finish giving a zing on the tongue and a heat on the lips. The last third showed the leather to fade out replaced by a smooth tobacco, and the pepper going way down to just barely there. The spice was completely gone by the band point.

This 6x52 stick offered a medium brown satin wrapper with a fairly firm construction and triple cap. Flavors started out as a medium bodied pepper powerhouse with near full strength, with transitions of a light creamy leather, slight sweetness and cocoa for a very brief point. The 2nd half lost most of the pepper kick, retaining just a general tobacco and pepper taste on the short clean finish. The draw flavors of the last half were more muted, with the leather fading out to just a tobacco taste and the strength went down a notch better matching the body. Burn was very good all the way down, the ash holding on to 1 1/2" each time. The draw was on the firm side, producing a good amount of smoke.

If you're one of those individuals looking for a fantastic blend you can reach for everyday, one that competes with other major manufacturers in terms of quality such as Rocky Patel or Gurkha, with an affordable price tag, then John Bull should be your blend of choice.

John Bull contains a tasty blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers all concealed by a silky smooth, yet dark Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. This combination allows the cigar to release thick, creamy smoke that offers a floral aroma with earthy undertones. This 5×50 stick offered a dark chocolate, VERY thick and toothy wrapper with excellent construction. Burn was almost razor sharp all the way down, with the ash holding to the 1/2 way point and a perfect draw. Flavors in the first half were of a medium bodied light leather and smooth earth, with a bit of sweetness and a pepper & spice kick. The 2nd half transitioned to a deep earth and bit of licorice, losing the sweetness and pepper zing. The finish grew longer and the body went down to a mild-medium. Thank you to Shuckins for trading me for this stick!

This 6×60 stick offered a very dark, firm satin wrapper with a lot of texture like shrink wrap. Medium bodied overall, flavors were typical of a maduro stick at most points with the addition of being extra smooth and light. Creamy sweet leather came through for the first half, followed by a mild pepper wash on the finish. A dry cocoa replaced the leather on the second half, kicking up the pepper slightly and holding the body flavors on the finish longer.

This 6×50 dark chocolate stick offered a slightly toothy, satin wrapper with a nice firm construction. Burn time to the band was just over an hour with a draw that started slightly firm and ended slightly loose with a good burn. Flavors present were medium bodied overall with a few distinct transitions. The first third was the typical maduro cigar – slightly sweet, good pepper and spice kick and a light leather. Later flavors included a creamyness, a deeper earth and a bigger peppercorn zing. Thank you CSMoFo (Joe) for sending this to me!

This 6.25×54 box pressed stick offered a medium chocolate, satin wrapper with a very firm feel. Draw was on the loose side but produced copious amounts of smoke all the way down with a very good burn, no issues. This 6×52 stick offered a dark, toothy, oily wrapper with a firm satin feel and sweet tobacco aroma. Overall body was medium, with the first half being a little lighter. Smoke was a bit light till the 1/2 way point at which it became much more ich and plentiful. Burn and draw were both very good, with no construction issues. Draw was on the loose side on par with just about any Rocky Patel, with just enough resistance. Flavors presented themselves with several nice transitions, offering combinations of smooth creamy wood, leather, a light earthiness, a touch of sweetness at points and a bit of pepper on most of the finish, growing a little stronger in the last third. http://cigarobsession.com/2009/11/02/piano-fuerte-bravo-toro-cigar-review/

Do you want free dinner at Long Horn Steakhouse?

Hey guys, I get nothing for telling you about this other then the satisfaction of hooking friends up. This 6×60 stick from Piano Fuerte came in a light tan wrapper with good firm construction and a smooth finish. Lasting just over an hour, it offered a fairly plain flavor profile but with a few good distinct transitions. Flavors included creamy leather, deep earthiness, cinnamon and a nice pepper & spice kick through the finish. This is a fairly spicy stick all the way down, with the core flavors changing through the thirds nicely. It was medium-full bodied but never overpowering – no buzz at all. Burn was almost razor sharp all the way down, the ash holding on for an inch between clean drops. The draw was just on the firm side with perfect resistance for slow nice pulls. The smoke volume was light till the last third, at which point it because voluminous and rich.

Really sweet notes of caramel and maple balanced well by woody, earthy, and leathery tones. This 6.5×44 stick offers a light tan wrapper with small veins and a thin slightly soft wrapper. The flavor profile was very complex with changes happening every few minutes to the band point. Total burn time tot he band was 1:15 where it got a little warm for my taste but still had a good inch left. Flavors included earth, leather, cinnamon, spice, pepper, cocoa, coffee, mocha and creme in various combinations as the stick burned down. Overall the body was medium, with touches on either side growing as it burned. Draw also changed significantly, from very firm to just on the loose side with the perfect resistance by the 1/2 way point. http://cigarobsession.com/2009/10/19/ashton-classic-898-cigar-review/

Review: Berger & Argenti Entubar

This is an excellent stick w/ some very unique features on it. I am still having issues with posting here--I've lost my toolbar that has the options for formatting. Any suggestions?

This 5×60 dark chocolate stick sports a soft, satin slightly toothy wrapper, with a very good burn all the way down, holding the ash past the 1/2 way point. Draw was excellent with the perfect amount of resistance for a smooth easy draw giving lots of rich cool, medium-full bodied smoke. Flavors were very consistent from the start to the band point, giving a slightly sweet, oily coffee flavor, and a mild pepper & spice kick on the clean finish. At the band point the smoke temp went up a bit and the pepper mostly gave way to a creaminess. Smoke time to the last inch was 1:20. http://cigarobsession.com/2009/10/16/marco-v-brazilian-grand-reserve-cigar-review/

Gurkha Symphony & triple ligero's....

I have 6 triple ligeros & 2 symphonys that i would like to trade off (not a gurkha fan)....i would like to trade for possibly???
