I had a Perdomo Golf this morning with my coffee. It came from a trade with plaidbanana1. It was a nice, smooth and mild way to start off the day, thanks brother.

Black Vanilla Cavindish Pipe Tobacco... meh on the aromatics, not as bad as infused cigars but not really that good either.

Just got home from spending about 6 hours at my b&m...while I was there, I smoked a Pinar del Rio Oscuro - it consistently burned like crap, and went out on me 5 times. I put it down with 4 inches to go. Considering my previous excellent experiences with Pinar del Rio, I'll have to give this one another go some other time. Due to my experience with that one, my excellent b&m owner gifted me a Bahia connecticut that he's offering in bundles, and that was an excellent smoke (very reasonably priced bundles too).

Today was herf day and once again I smoked enough cigars for two people. First up was a Perdomo ESV '91 Phantom on the ride up. Got settled at the herf and the first cigar up was a Don Pepin Garcia Tabacos Baez belicoso, very nice and smooth, medium bodied and tasty. Ate some shrimp tacos and the next cigar was an Arturo Fuente Don Carlos #3 with almost 2 years of box aging on it, the cigar was pretty good and I'm satisfied that the patience of letting them rest has paid off. After the DC came a cigar I've been wanting to try for a while but for one reason or another haven't, a Winston Churchill toro from Davidoff, the short version is that it was excellent, unlike any cigar I've had before, medium bodied overall and it exhibited an incredible balance and complexity. Last up at the herf was a Joya de Nicaragua Antaño Dark Corojo robusto, fantastic cigar and when smoked slowly the strength is not overwhelming. The ride home saw a disappointing Arganese CL3 robusto, I think my palate was fried at this point I just didn't get much from the cigar. Great day for a herf, the weather was perfect and another good time was had.

This afternoon I went for a Brazilian label house blend churchill from the weekend blitz a few weeks back and it was pretty damn good. I was a bit surprised to see that the celo was very yellowed which would indicate that it had some time in the warehouse before it got to me, good stuff. Tonight was an Oliveros LTD, tasty as usual.

Last night I had some good smokes. Started out with the new El Truinfidor lancero. It was fresh from the B&M so I can't say for certain but I wasn't really wowed by it. I did enjoy it, a very classic cigar in my opinion, and I think I might like it better in a larger ring guage. Next up was an Oliva Serie O, always a predictable yet very tastey smoke. And, to cap off the night, on the ride home really enjoyed a Casa Magna Oscuro robusto. These get better every time I try them. I have had the Colorodo wrapper as well, but I enjoy the oscuro just a bit more.
    GO 'CUSE!!!

Just finished a Nub Habano. Very impressed. I'm looking forward to trying the others.
