I had one of my 5 Vegas Cask Stength II that I got on the DD. Before I say what I thought of the cigar, I have to note that C.com got me these cigars in 2 days. Ordered on Monday afternoon and got them Wednesday afternoon. Again, C.com is super fast on shipping.

I enjoyed the cigar, though I think I was a little too anxious to try it. It's the first one I've had and I'm sure it'll be fantastic with a little rest and age on it.
just a few weeks make a good difference
I'm sure it will. I like the new Santa Squirrel by the way. Hey, if you do end up getting a box of Gran Habano 3 Siglos, how would care for a trade? I'd like to try one of those.

Never heard of anyone having issues with a 5 Vegas. Sorry to hear that. I already had my smoke for the day, but I enjoyed a Gurkha Beauty while listening to my Tigers lose to Baylor :(

Graycliff 1666 Pirate Torpedo. A very smooth mediun bodied smoke. Pre light cigar was very firm, almost like it was 0ver stuffed. Excellent firm draw and a perfect burn. I got these in a CCOM shipment last week.
what did taste like? I cant figure these puppies out at all
I have a padilla obsidian ....nice smoke let them rest for 6 months and had no burn problems
Hints of pepper followed by mild wood, peppery finish. Milder than my normal choices, but very good.

Jacket that is one of my favorites because it has such a stuffed feel and hard draw!

Had a Padilla Achilles today. Nice creamy smoke. Not too big on flavour.

Had a CAO MX2 Dagger earlier this evening, what an awesome little smoke it was. I was really impressed by these, I would say they are my favorite size for the MX2. Right now I am in the middle of an Alec Bradley Tempus. Its been a while since I had one of these, and I forgot how much I like them. Excellent cigars.

Had a Gurkha Signature 101 Maduro and it was awful, nothing but burn issues from the very beginning. I had to puff 4-5 consecutive times just to get any smoke. I was constantly relighting and touching it up. Then about 1/4 of the way into it, the stick just went out. I was fed up by this time so I chucked it. Then I went with a solid 5 Vegas Cask.

Never heard of anyone having issues with a 5 Vegas.

The first 5 Vegas I had was a Series A that had burn issues the whole way through. The 2nd was a Cask Strength II that burned fantastic, perfect the whole way.

Last night I went to the cigar lounge at the Snoqualmie casino and my buddy hooked me up with a Tatuaje Drac. It was gooood, deceptively powerful though. Pretty mellow on the pallet, but a heavy hitter in the buzz department. It was funny, mine burned perfect the whole way through mostly due to good advice from y'all regarding smoking technique. Both the guys I was there with had burn issues and laughed about the newbie making them look bad. It was fun, thanks Ccom for the good advice for us noob's :^)

Earlier today I lit up a Padilla Habano from the DOTD. It was a very enjoyable, tasty treat.
