all, I know now that 50/50 solution isn't appropriate for charging beads, but is there anything wrong with putting it in a shot glass and seasoning a new humidor with it? Want to add sticks to a new humidor tonight but want to make sure it's ready.
Thanks!

nothing wrong with it. i dont however think it will help any.
as far as adding sticks to a new humi...
good things come to those who wait.
if you have had the humidor for less than 24 hours i promise you that it is not ready to have cigars in it.

well, it's been three days, but my process was using the 50/50 solution in a dish. Would it still be seasoned or should I go through the process again with distilled water?
Sorry for all the questions.
Thanks,
matt

It's probably fine (depending on how big it is). Take the glass of water out, put a calibrated hygrometer in and see what it says. If it reads somewhere in the 65-75 range and remains steady over the course of 24 hours, you should be good to start putting a few cigars in.

it doent matter if its pure 50/50/ or distilled water. if the RH is over 70% you are good.
