If they have a Cojonu, grab one if not I'd recommend an East Coast or West Coast. Red Labels

Exclusivo Lado Occidental, Verocu No. 1 (6.25" x 52) is the West Coast.
Exclusivo Zona Del Este, Verocu No.2 (5.5" x 54) is the East Coast.

I'll get to try the mighty OpusX, for the first time, in a few weeks. Just got home from the local B&M, and they had some out. It's the first time I've even seen any. I almost overlooked them, but went back to the Fuente section to double-check if they had any Bauzas. They didn't, but they did have the OpusX. They'll do. :)

I snagged some in the Fuente Fuente size and some Perfecxion No.4s.

Also in the purchase were a couple box-pressed Brazilias, 3 Punch Gran Puros, and a couple Ashton VSG torpedos. I've never had the CAO or the Ashton, and the Punch is one I know I like.

Thanks, Maddy. I'll keep my eye out for those.

Urbi, sounds like you picked up a nice little score there. Hope you enjoy the opus.

46 sounds about right on the ring. I splurged a couple months back and bought one in this size and one Perfecxion #4 since kuzi rated it so highly. I don't plan on smoking either one until they have close to a year at least on them.

I plan to give mine a couple of years at least. It's going to be hard, but I think I have enough other stuff to keep my occupied. And if not, then I will go to the store and buy one the smoke and leave me others to age.

I must have over 300 cigars in my humidors if not more. I think I can ignore them. I also only allow myself a god of fire OR Don Carlos 30th anniversary once every two to three months. I think I have maybe 26 of the Don Carlos and maybe 36 God of fire. I got the God of Fires back in May or June of 2007. A few are from 2004, most are from 2005 and I have a box of the Piramide from this year.

I have cigars that I haven't even tried yet, like the RP 1992, Cuano Corojo, etc... that are just sitting. So, I have plenty to keep me going. I think I have 13 Centurians, 15 Titans, a bunch of legends, 9 RP 1990, 8 Triple Ligero, some Warlords, Grand Age, and more that I have stocked up. Not to mention about 20 Hemingways. I am trying to age a bunch but expand my pallette too.

Thanks. Yeah, I did alright. The prices were very reasonable, too, although the total bill was more than I'd intended to spend. I figured you gotta strike while the iron's hot, with the OpusX.

I don't have them in front of me, maddy, but kuzi's description of the Fuente Fuente has to be pretty close to right. Kind of a fattish lancero or a double corona.

Just for the the name's sake, it would be a corona gorda, ie fat corona.

Only it's not a fat corona. For a corona, it's about average in ring size; it's just long. For a lancero, it's about average in length; it's just fattish.

If you're talking about the Fuente fuente, that is a 5.6" x 46 ring. Typically a corona is 5.5" long with a 44 ring.

Calling a 46 fat compared to a 44 is perhaps a misnomer, but I didn't come up with that one.

I'm looking at a Fuente fuente right now, as I type this, and it is nothing like a lancero. Every lancero I've seen is long and skinny, like 7 x 38/40. The Fuente fuente, on the other hands, is of corona length but slightly larger in girth.
