I love that feeling when you are about to go on vacation and can't stop thinking about which cigars too take. I think it's fun as hell...or maybe I'm just a weirdo.

I enjoy picking out the cigars for travel too....its the traveling back and going through customs that annoys the piss out of me.

Thanks for all the info, I bought a herf-a-dor while on my trip this weekend in Phoenix. Great B&M I found, PM me if you want the name.

I also would recommend one of those herf a dores. I have 2 actually, a 5 count and and 15 count. And they work great. I even had the 5 count humi get swamped in a boat and my cigars were fine. (and it floats) :)
I wondered if it would float thats cool.
My best friend for life, NOW, no im kidding we have been best friends forever just bought me a 5 count herf-a-dor for christmas. Its the best present I have ever received in my life they are priceless...

Dumb question...but here goes...can I bring matches with me on the plane? I will be traveling to Iowa in a week and just want to make sure I have everything ready to go. I will no be checking a bag and have a 10 ct travler. Should I just hope the hotel has some matches?

I would check the TSA's website...then if you find it that u can...print it out because that won't mean they won't try to take them from you...like cigar cutters.

Strike-anywhere Matches - One book of safety (non-strike anywhere) matches are permitted as carry-on items, but all matches are prohibited in checked baggage.

    Hope it helps!

maybe a bit off the subject, but i prefer to use a torch when lighting, usually enjoy a cigar outside thats why, so when Im traveling something like this works real good (see link below) You can take it on a plane with out the lighter in it, and pick up a standard bic when you get there (they sell the same one world wide for under a buck) shove it in and you have a easy travel torch. Just thought Id share. http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/tools/8868/
