    Ha!

That second-floor bedroom you have that contains an underground stream in Cuba seems relevant here, somehow. I'm just not quite bright enough to figure out how. Relativistic fizziks always gave me trouble.

It's an interesting smoke phobic. Hard to describe it, but it is a rich cigar, so have some food in you before you tackle it. The Triple Maduro was not a spicy cigar, but I'd call it full bodied as it left me light headed.

I've had a few of them about 6 months or so ago and they are indeed full-bodied, so jO is right, smoke it after a meal. I remember liking them but not loving them and haven't smoked any since. Re: Padron 4000 Maduro, Very nice cigar. I smoke the 3000 and 4000 occasionally. I tihink of the Padron regular line the same way as I do Punch and Hoyo de Monterey good, dependable and consistant smokes with no surprises. Cheers!

Defiance by Xikar: The Renegade (5x50)
    Wrapper: Nicaraguan Shade Grown Criollo
    Binder: Nicaraguan Sungrown Corojo
    Filler: Nicaraguan

The cigar is smooth to the touch and has a bit of sheen to it. The band of red, black, and cream looks very nice on it.

The lick on the cap has a mild but sweet taste to it with a bit of wood flavor as well. The draw unlit has a bit of cinnamon to it and the draw itself is good.

The initial flavor has a coffee flavor to it and a fair amount of black pepper. The coffee is a bit on the bitter side. This settles, after a few puffs, to a bit of rich earth on the finish. Through the nose a floral note is present.

As the cigar approaches the first ash, a nice subtle sweetness develops on the initial taste followed by coffee with black pepper and a finish of earth. Its nice and complex after just one inch. Shortly after this point the first ash falls.

At the halfway point the pepper and sweet settle out leaving behind the coffee and earth. Compared to where it was, this cigar has, for some reason, taken a turn to the bland.

As I move to the end of the cigar much of the same continues. Earth. Coffee. The burn is slightly uneven but nothing major.

This cigar developed quickly to a point then dropped off and maintained a steady flavor for the rest of the stick. If the cigar had continued on the path it started on it would have been wonderful…. but it didn’t so it was only good.

Hey kuzi, you ever have a Gurhka Ancient Warrior, Crest, Factum, or Triple Ligero? Saw these in some bundles was curious if they were worth a buy.

I've had the Triple Ligero but haven't had the other three. I haven't heard of the factum. I want to try ALL.

I've got an Ancient Warrior staring at me from my desk, keeps taunting me to smoke it. I hear it is one of the better and more popular Gurkhas.
