In Esteli, Nicaragua, A.J. Fernandez established a cigar operation unlike any other. It is there where he farms, ferments and rolls his own tobacco in the old Cuban tradition, employing only supervisors who come from the "old country" to ensure his time-honored process is preserved. Abdel oversees production everyday, carefully monitoring and inspecting each torcedor as they create his cigars to guarantee each stick leaving his factory is perfectly constructed and a pleasure to enjoy.

A. Fernandez is a full-bodied blend utilizing a rich Habano Ecuador wrapper or an oily, toothy maduro, both concealing a blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran ligeros to bring a wide array of flavors and aromas to the palate. This cigar is complex and well-balanced with spice, leather, some earthiness and hints of sherry with a long lasting finish that will satisfy most enthusiasts.
