Hailing from Tabacalera Fernandez in Esteli, Nicaragua, Padilla Habano is the perfect choice for enthusiasts looking for a complex cigar that still offers a smooth flavor and is well balanced. Ernesto Padilla is well known for his blending abilities. He has created some of the top cigars available today, including Padilla Series 68, Padilla Miami, Padilla 1932, and a host of others. Padilla Habano showcases all Cuban-seed Nicaraguan long leaf tobacco wrapped with a binder also grown in Nicaragua. To complete this blend, a 5-year-old Nicaraguan Habano leaf was added to conceal its robust filler and binder. Of course, like all Padilla cigars, no expense was spared during the creation process and after close examination; each Habano is flawless. Padilla Habano is a medium-bodied beauty. Upon lighting, the cigar emits toasty nuances of cedar that blend well with its sweet, underlying hints of cocoa. The cigar finishes with some spicy nuances that cling to the palate for a long, enjoyable finish. If you are a fan of Padilla, this cigar should definitely be in your humidor. |
