overview

A medium-bodied morsel from Padilla.

Padilla 1948 honors Ernesto Padilla’s father, famed Cuban dissident poet Heberto Padilla. The cigar’s name, 1948, refers to the year that Heberto Padilla published his first book, and is a fitting tribute to the literary giant. This best-selling cigar has returned after a brief hiatus and a swift sell out is all but guaranteed.

Coming dressed in a gorgeous Nicaraguan wrapper and a long leaf filler blend of Corojo and Criollo tobaccos, this medium-bodied gem features flavors of leather, hay, wood, earth, cream, spice, pepper, and caramel. This cigar is complex with a pleasing transition of flavors and remains perfectly balanced right down to the end.
