A showcase of Cuban heritage and respect for tradition.
At this point it’s safe to say that any blend originating with Don Pepin Garcia is bound to be a home run. His cigar blending legacy is well-known, and My Father Cigars in Nicaragua is one of the most respected and highly successful operations in the industry. Following the mega success of Flor de las Antillas, the master blender once again embraces old Cuban art with the release of La Antiquedad, which translates to “The Antiquity.”
A blend five years in the making, Don Pepin Garcia and Jaime Garcia have developed this super-premium cigar using the finest Cuban seed Nicaraguan-grown tobaccos. These tobaccos have undergone no less than three and a half years of curing, resulting in a very complex yet balanced profile. Featuring a double binder comprised of Nicaraguan Corojo and Criollo leaf, this medium to full-bodied blend is finished with a Habano Ecuador Rosado Oscuro wrapper.
I just smoke my first La Antiguedad Robusto few days ago, Overall it was a good cigar, but I think the last third of it it wasn't that good as the other 2/3 thirds. Notes of Mocha, Coffee Beans. Excellent burn from the beginning. I will try it again.
