In some cases a name means everything, and in this instance, that's absolutely the truth. The maker of this fine blend is Nimish Desai, who also happens to be the cousin of the venerable Rocky Patel. This is Desai's second release, a follow-up to Thunder in 2012.
Nimmy-D by Nimish Desai aims to go bold—super bold. The Nicaraguan Habano wrapper encases a binder that hails from the Jamastran Valley in Honduras, and a hand selected blend of Nicaraguan long-fillers from Esteli and Jalapa. Each full-bodied, full-flavored puff is bursting with striking notes of black pepper, cedar, licorice and earth. The remnants of this well-balanced and satisfying experience will stick with you long after you've finished.
Always a solid choice. I'm not a huge Rocky Patel fan but this cigar specifically is a great regular smoke. Medium-full bodied and smooth. Every once in a while, I'll get out with a little after bite towards the end of the smoke but still worth it. Great draw and consistent.
