A tasty Nicaraguan cigar without the carbon footprint...
Verdadero cigars come from the beautiful city of Granada situated right on Lake Nicaragua. Granada is one of The Americas' oldest cities and is considered the capital of Central America. Settled nearly 500 years ago, the city is nestled between Lake Nicaragua and the Mombacho Volcano. At the base of the volcano, just outside the bustling city, there is a beautiful tobacco field planted in virgin soil. This nutrient rich area is where the tobacco is grown for Verdadero, a brand boasting hearty, 100% organic filler that is triple fermented to perfection.
Using all Organic fillers once again - but in a heartier, spicier recipe - this new edition dubbed “OSG” (a.k.a. Organic Sun Grown) comes finished with an oily, Cuban-seed wrapper grown in Nicaragua's most fertile soils at the base of the Mambacho Volcano. Some of the same unique aromas presented in the original Verdadero shine through in this new Verdadero OSG, but these unique nuances are presented in a stronger, spicier format to satisfy the demand of discerning aficionados looking for a little more “oomph” in their cigars.
I enjoy the bold flavors this cigar releases. I remember the original Verdadero and it had a bit of a sweetness to it. Not this beauty. This OSG cigar grabs your palate by the taste buds and takes you on an epic joy ride. Some may consider this cigar medium to full, but it’s smooth from the start and leaves behind earthy sensations with spicy undertones.
