Great taste

One of my all-time favorites - but don't tell anybody please I want them all for myself! It is a nice change of pace have them not be box pressed.

I was skeptical about my initial purchase. I have smoked Padron cigars before and have several in my humidors; mostly for friends to smoke, whom enjoy them. I had thought of them as being a bit on the "too strong" side, for my palate. I came across the 1926 90th Anniversary and I was compelled (by various reviews) to try them. Although I am not a particular fan of the "tubo"-type cigars, I purchased a box. And, after an unusually long and stressful week, I looked forward to enjoying a well deserved cigar, accompanied by some fine wine. To my delight, I discovered that these are a fantastic, cigar, indeed. My tastes have matured and changed over the nearly 40 years that I have been enjoying cigars. The Maduro is a fine, rich smoke; not overpowering at all (i.e.; "too strong"). These are round cigar, as opposed to the box-pressed type. The size of 5.2" x 55 is nearly perfect. The burn was even and consistent to the old school adage: "one-match, one cigar;" as it did not require relighting. This cigar has changed my thinking about Padron cigars and, perhaps, has been part the realization of an evolving and maturation of my taste (much to my surprise!). I opine that the Padron Serie 1926 90th Anniversary is one of the better values in the Padron line. I have since purchased an additional box of Padron Serie 1926 90th Anniversary Natural AND a box of Padron 1926 Serie 40th Anniversary Maduro. I fear that once this taste has been acquired that it will be difficult to satisfy with cigars that are not on par with this level. I want to conclude with stating that Padron cigars are expensive; this is true, however the quality of the product justifies the cost (personal subjectivity, notwithstanding). If one is "on-the-fence" about trying the Padron Serie 1926 90th Anniversary cigars, I would definitely recommend them. Trying this cigar has changed the general perspective about my personal cigar profile preferences and my perception of Padron cigars, in particular. - TRY THEM!

Not big on padron cigars. Over rated over priced. But the series 90 is a great smoke. I like the light and the Maduro. It has a great flavor as well. These are pricy but worthy.

Awesome smoke, probably my favorite Cigar right now.

Outstanding cigar. Might be a little too much for the casual smoker.
