This is one of my favorites. Can’t decide between the Torpedo and the Tubo - one box pressed and the other not. Although they are both Decades and are of similar size, there are subtle differences between them. I have both in my humidor.

I prefer Toro size and shape over the Lonsdale. But the flavor profile seems a little different between the two. The Lonsdale seems to have a better smoke and flavor than the Toro..

Love these Cigars! I always buy the Decade and Rocky Patel's ALR Second Edition.

Even burn ever time with a tight ash box that holds on. It's a perfect size if you don't have time for a long smoke or just having a short smoke and chat with a friend. They're hard to beat on the palette. Smooth and creamy flavors on the front end and with hint of dark chocolate on the back end. Enjoy!

I absolutely love this cigar. my main love is the way its made. To me, its square shape helps me a lot when holding it since I have nerve damage in my hands due to a car accident I was in back in 2017. It tastes amazing, burns in my opinion at the perfect speed. I am planning on buying an extra humidor just for this cigar alone. Rocky cigars deserve and have earned their 95+ ratings for their cigars for a reason.

Nice smooth smoke

3.25/5 The initial aroma and dry draw promised a smooth leather and a full but rich smoke. However, the first third surprised me with being fairly rough with an overbearance of spicy and bitter-sour harsher/cheaper tobacco tones. If I didn't have a "I bought it so I dang sure am going to finish it" mentality, I would have chucked it then as it was really unpleasant. However, I was happy that I didn't because, as it got into the middle, the taste mellowed and the over spicy tones became the promised dark/aged leather and a deep almost browned butter taste that lingered well on the palate. The finish was much the same as the middle with a bit more heat and pleasant spicy notes. The room aroma became better as well the longer it was smoked. Would be a solid smoke that I would consider buying again if the first third hadn't been so unpleasant. The middle and finish turned a 1 star rating into a 3.25 rating,

Got in a sampler. Was expecting it to b one of the best. Beautiful looking, tunneled, uneven burn, didn’t stay lit, burned hot, slightly harsh taste. Very surprised & disappointed. Def will not purchase again.

The Decade is an easy pick for anyone’s list of favorites. And a great choice for the beginner, as well as the seasoned cigar smoker. It is really good. Med-full bodied, but not at all harsh or overpowering. Is it the best cigar I’ve ever had? No, but it’s a solid, consistently good smoke. And, if you catch them on special, they are also pretty affordable. This combination is hard to beat.

These cigars were disappointing to me. They were not smooth, and seemed harsh. If I were to taste these on a blind test, I would never buy them.

Smooth head to foot, rapper to ash! Taste was great, loved the box pressed, great draw and even burn! Price for a box is out of my price range but I will buy single for special occasions.

If you can handle the strong stuff, this is a must have. Body is full, flavors are full, and as with all Rocky’s, burn and draw are perfect. I’ve smoked a bunch of these and stock my humidor with them anytime I can find them at a reasonable price. Flavors are predominantly charred wood, earth, leather, and pepper, with almost no sweetness. With a full lineup of flavors like that, one would expect a harsh or bitter, eye-tearing cigar. But herein lies the magic of the Rocky Patel Decade. The smoke is incredibly smooth and silky. It’s tons of flavor and smoke without the bitter or acrid flavors that accompany similar, full-strength cigars in this price point. This is a top ten all time smoke in my humidor, and I grab them up any time I can.

Absolutely wonderful cigar, They are in my travel bag often. Excellent flavor, size and burn. Never disappointed!

Get the moisture content just right and this is a fabulous, powerhouse of a smoke which you wish would never end. Possibly Rocky’s best and one of the best cigars out there.

This one didn't strike me. I didn't care for the flavor as I have with other brands. It did smoke very evenly and I never had any problems with the draw. The flavor and depth of this cigar just didn't keep me going.

This is by far one of my favorite sticks. Medium to full body flavored smoke but not overpowering. Smooth till the end with no heavy aftertaste. Have had consistent quality on burn, flavor and rolling. Definitely recommend giving these a shot, you'll be back.

Was given one of these at a whiskey tasting party. This was an amazing paring with a good Rye whiskey. Medium bold flavor and great burning. There is going to be one in my humidor at all times.

This year I started smoking cigars again and I was very diluted into preferring only one brand of cigar. Once I smoked this stick... I realized the error of my ways... This cigar is amazing! It opened my eyes and pallet. This is now my new favorite. It smokes insanely well very thick smoke on every draw. Almost perfect construction. Even burn all the way to my finger nails. When I was putting this one out I was sad that it was over. I MUST buy more. Amazing.

Tried this cigar on three different occasions and was highly disappointed each time. At first I thought, it was me since it has so many positive reviews, but it just isn't any good. Rocky's 90 vintage is my favorite though.

I purchased the Decades in a 60 ring size. They were as fresh as can be they burnt so evenly throughout my smoke. The taste was unbelievable, nutty, creamy and the draw was magnificent, i highly recommend this cigar to all fellow cigar tokens!! Thank you Rocky for another fine cigar!!

The Decade is a fine cigar, as everyone knows. The Lonsdale is a real treat because long thinner cigars are becoming harder to find these days. All the headlines seem to go to the short fat robustos, but a cigar this size is what I prefer& Im happy that Rocky Patel makes a quality smoke in the size I prefer

I've tried the 50 gauge or smaller ring size and found them to deliver somewhat more fuller taste than their larger brother. Though these were fine I'll sticker to the smaller gauge with this brand

A smooth full flavored smoke.

I received one of these cigars in my 'starter pack' from Cigar.com and absolutely loved it. Now, I'm historically a Romeo Y Julietta man however, this box pressed stick was superb; enough so that I'm not only convinced box pressing is the way to go but I'm also sold on this as my new favorite cigar to smoke. Buy yourself a single and try it, you'll thank me later.

As a long time box buyer of the RP Decade, this is my favorite cigar. I have to say though that in the past year I have noticed that it doesn't burn as evenly as it used to. Worth the trouble in my opinion.

My Cigars was not that fresh and it took forever for it to arrive. But hey I got my cigar. I smoked one and they rest was a waste of money because after I tasted the first one that wasn't fresh then I'm sure the rest was. but thanks though.

I love RP. This decade is just a good strong but smooth flavor. It's like a good quality go to beer. It's not a seasonal or special event cigar. You can enjoy it anytime and not be in the mood for any extra not needed flavors. As a beginner cigar smoker RP in general has been great. I just need to learn how to evenly light my cigars lol

I'm going to chalk this one up to me maybe having received a bad stick. The flavor of the cigar was just fantastic, I absolutely LOVED it(!), the problem lies in the construction. The pack of the stick was uniform throughout with the exception of the last inch on the capped end. It was extremely tight and I had to drag hard on this just to keep it lit. There was no way for me to open up the draw because so much of the capped end was so tightly packed. I had to touch up the burn continuously as well; I'm talking major touch ups here. In my experience, the burn tends to correct itself most of the time, so I usually let it go awhile, but it got very bad a number of times with the stick I smoked. The wrapper started disintegrating on the stick as well, which only added to my frustration. The flavor was so superb though, which is why I give it 4 stars still, the smoke was flavorful and full on the palate; however, due to the construction issues, this was not as enjoyable a smoke as it could have been. I'd buy it again, but nowhere near the prices even this website offers for it. I'd need to have a good overall experience that made me forget about this one for that kind of investment.

Rocky Patel Decade a nice flavor. But burns terribly. Uneven, a loose wrap, which means it burns faster then it looks like it should, and didn't cone right at all. And it tunneled on me once. Not sure how this thing got the high rating that it did. In general, a timeless smoke, as in, at no time should you ever smoke this.

I ordered a single stick of Rocky Patel Decade Torpedo, as I often do when deciding if I'm going to allocate humidor space to a new box of delectables. While this cigar had hints of greatness during the 45 minutes or so, it is not an outstanding cigar. Harsh on the tongue from beginning to end, and the retrohale is uninspired. Flat, harsh tobacco for most of the hour. The hints of greatness were fleeting tastes of a complex and full-bodied mix of leather, earth and well aged tobacco. Unfortunately, 5 minutes of joy in an hour are not enough for me. Thumbs down...this cigar will not end up in my humidor next to the Olivas, Davidoffs or Padrons.

Didn't enjoy this as much as expected. Burned unevenly, but I was smoking in less than ideal windy conditions. Full flavored, but for me the different flavors seemed to be working against each other. Glad to try this and I'm sure I'll revisit it when I can find it on sale. Not bad by any means, just not my cup of tea this time around. Received this in the Starter Set IV, which I would highly recommend.

I ordered a sampler, and a Decade by itself. The sampler was great, but the Decade had rounded corners on one half, and 90 degree corners on the other half. Not a good smoke for premium priced cigar.

I like that it has a balance between taste and aroma. The taste is smooth and the aroma is not to strong as other cigars.
