Hailing from one of the Dominican's most prestigious factories, The Griffin's are a must try for all fans of Connecticut wrapper. For the more adventurous, there's a maduro offering as well.
Rolled and distributed by Davidoff, one of the industry's most prestigious manufacturers, The Griffin's compete with the likes of Ashton, Macanudo, Man O' War Virtue, and Avo – earning a 4.0 out of 5 from SMOKE magazine. These premium beauties boast a blend of Dominican long leaf tobaccos all concealed by a beautiful Connecticut-shade wrapper leaf or a Dominican maduro.
Despite being a Dominican Connecticut, expect bursts of flavor throughout as this mild to medium-bodied blend tantalizes every aspect of your palate. For those of you who mastered the art of cycling cigar smoke through your nostrils without inhaling, you'll love the impressive, hearty yet smooth nuances expelled by this premium.
This is an outstanding cigar for the drive home. Melow and always satisfying

Arguably one of the Best Connecticut Blends
Aug 31, 2015
First off, my cigars were Rob's to (5" × 5.0), and I have gotten a total of 40 of them on speciall. This has to be arguably my favorite Connecticut cigar. A buyer commented that they were "rather green" in flavor, but that is precisely why I love them as opposed to, say, Mark Twain. The construction and burn are flawless, and the draw is just right.

Could be my bad.

First off...I have no problem with Cigar.com the shipping is quick, and most cigars have met my expectations. The Griffin 500's? They were a little "green" and needed more time in the humidor. Perhaps its the buyer who should plan on conditioning the cigars before smoking them...but the Mark Twains I buy from you guys..they smoke nice right out of the box!
